Jesse Jimenez is currently going into his sophomore year at NYU, where he majors in Applied Psychology and Global Public Health. He previously lived in Mission Viejo, California with his parents, three siblings, and three dogs before attending NYU. In his spare time Jesse enjoys reading random Wikipedia articles and watching YouTube videos that run the gamut from Top 10s on the deadliest wild animals to vlogs. He first found about AWI when he spoke on a Movies for Mental Health panel about his own lived experience with mental illness. After his own experience and listening to the stories of others who have dealt with mental illness, it inspired him to speak out and to empower others to do the same.
