Alanna Snow

Outreach Assistant

Alanna Snow

Alanna completed her BA Honours in English, Sociology, and Psychology at the University of Guelph. During this time she volunteered at The Homewood Health Centre for mental health and addiction; assisting in the facilitation of recreation therapy. Upon graduation, she realized that to better understand herself and the culture she lived in, she needed to experience other cultures around the world. As a result, she has spent much of the last decade traveling and living abroad.

Having recently returned to Toronto, she is committed to a career helping others and is currently finishing the last 8 months of her Paramedic training.  Her passion to volunteer in the mental health field is motivated by personal experiences in her own life, as well as many of those closest to her. She believes that mental health is something that we all share, and therefore should take an active role in supporting, understanding, and communicating. For this reason, she is really excited to be part of the Art With Impact Team.
