“Hanging” is an abstract animated documentary based on Nick LeDonne’s personal journey through depression in November of 2014. His thoughts and feelings are personified in a luring dark fog and a loving mother desperately trying to save her son.

Director: Nick LeDonne

Nick grew up with a passion for the arts that quickly spilled into animation. “Hanging” has screened internationally in 28 countries, now involved with international suicide prevention organizations to open meaningful dialogue. Nick is currently an instructor at both Rutger’s University-Camden and the Pennsylvania College of Art and Design, while also working on independent films. “Hanging” is a documentary of Nick’s own experience and was inspired to create the film to help others.
