Summer Si

Communications Coordinator, June - August 2013

Summer Si

As a Public Health Major and Gender and Women Studies Minor third year student at the University of California, Berkeley, Summer is interested in how our multi-faceted society influences health and vice versa. Her work includes being a peer counselor for health through UC Berkeley’s SHEP and with mental health as the Administrative Coordinator for the club, You Mean More, which hosted the AFSP Suicide Prevention Walk. Outside of health, Summer was a part of the show committee for FAST, Fashion and Student Trends, and an intern with the Women’s Empowerment Cohort a part of the Gender Equity Resource Center.

Summer plans to continually destigmatize mental health in all parts of her life and become a licensed psychologist in the future.
