Laura brings over twenty-five years of experience in non-profit program management and fund development and her wry sense of humor to the Art With Impact team. Her experience ranges from serving as the Deputy Director of a Statewide Human Services Agency to leading Community Health efforts for a large Healthcare System to developing programs for a health-focused private Foundation, Laura has enjoyed the opportunity to have her avocation for helping people actually be her job. Drawn to Art With Impact because of her experience working with very young first-time moms who faced a myriad of challenges including their own mental wellness, she is excited to be part of the AWI team. Laura lives in Fort Worth Texas with her husband Bill and two adorable ten-year-old fur babies (dogs).
