Catherine Wachter

Catherine is passionate about art and education – and the intersection between the two. She completed a theatre degree at the American Academy of Dramatic Arts (NYC) and then pursued acting in New York, Los Angeles, Vancouver and Toronto. While Catherine has pursued many artistic endeavors over the years, she also completed an Undergraduate and Masters’ degree in history, as well as a Bachelor of Education at OISE, University of Toronto (U of T).  Catherine currently works as a guidance counsellor at The University of Toronto Schools, a private high school in Toronto.  She also runs her own life coaching business, specifically working with youth and artists, is a film director and heads up a film production company in Toronto. Catherine’s focus is working with youth to use creativity as a means of making connections to their own mental health and building resiliency. Learn more at www.catherinewachter.ca
