Managing Director

Andrew Kirschner

Andrew (he/him) is a jack-of-all trades digital strategist with a background in community management, graphic design, and content creation, and a laser focus on building lasting relationships with audiences. At Art With Impact, Andrew is responsible for managing communication and outreach with AWI’s vibrant community of students, artists, campus staff and mental health professionals.

By way of a cappella, Andrew has his feet firmly planted in the art world. He discovered the power of art to connect, bridge, and enliven communities after The Princeton Review rated his alma mater the “#1 Most Unhappy Students in the United States,” prompting him to form his university’s first co-ed a cappella group (take that, Princeton Review!). A decade later he founded and now directs the NYC-based performing arts group Valence and works pro bono with arts organizations to help them build audiences and promote their art on the web.

Professionally, Andrew is a veteran in the altruistic space having worked various roles with the “One for One” social enterprise TOMS, government behemoth USAID, neonatal and maternal health organization The Birthing Project, and over 100 additional nonprofits through his online marketing consultancy.
