Garette Henson wins Art With Impact’s May 2014 Short Film Contest on Mental Health

Congratulations to Garette Henson and his team for winning Art With Impact's May 2014 short film contest for his film, “Without Beauty.”


Garette Henson has been living in Brooklyn for the past six years but grew up in Los Angeles working as an actor in film and television. Garette’s work frequently dwells in the realm of subjective and psychological drama, as he explores the relationship between expressive camera and subtle story. Garette received a B.A. from Sarah Lawrence College, and is currently in his 4th year at Columbia University in the M.F.A. film program.
