Youth Suicide Prevention

YSPP (Youth Suicide Prevention Program) is a Washington State non-profit organization that works with high schools to train and educate teachers, counselors, and students about suicide and prevention. The goal was to create something that could be shown at fundraising auctions to quickly educate guests and donors and raise awareness. The film needed to convey to people how internal the life of a teen is. Teens may look happy and healthy on the outside, but the stresses and pressures in their lives are very real, and come at them from many directions. They often wear a mask so no one can see how much pain they are in. The teens featured in the film are all gathered from local Seattle high schools. Avicci very graciously granted the use of his song "Fade Into Darkness" for this important project. This film was a community service project created by a 16 year old high school sophomore.
