The Humanology Project: Hayley’s Story

The Humanology Project is a non-profit organization aimed as destigmatizing mental and neurological illness. One of the ways we do this is by creating a platform for patients to share their stories. We aim not only for increased health literacy, but also greater empathy.

We are working on a series of stories. In this film, we meet Hayley. She is a student at Hunter College who struggles with depression, anxiety, and a chronic illness. She uses humor and self reflection as coping mechanisms.
