Director: Randy Kelly

Randy Kelly is an award-winning film and television director, editor and cameraman based in the Ottawa/Gatineau area in Canada. Over the last 25 years, Randy has worked on dramatic and lifestyle TV series, documentaries, short and feature-length films, cinepoems and music videos in both English and French. In the past 15 years, Randy has developed a passion for projects that highlight Indigenous cultures, in collaboration with a local Indigenous-owned production company. These projects have taken him across Canada and around the world.

Since 2014, Randy has also been giving cinepoetry and spoken word workshops, with Ottawa-based spoken word artist Jamaal Jackson Rogers, at international schools around the world. Exploring poetry, mental health issues, indigenous voices, human rights and social justice are all part of Randy's mission to help people tell their stories.
