ANNOYING was a Canadian street folk punk duo that split before it gained an international underground fame. Grant Faithful now lives in Canadian drug capital – Hastings, in Vancouver BC. In winter of 2016, Chad Fontaine passed away in Mexico.
Grant, who is a Cree "Indian" with traumatic past, wrote this song based on his own overdose experiences. It is completely autobiographical. The video rather focuses on feelings and compassion than on medical acpects of s condition it paints.
