Scattered

An Experimental film that depicts the mind of a person suffering from Anxiety, beginning slowly to represent calmness and clarity in life, until stress/anxiety begins to take over, using montage as a metaphor for a scattered mind. An unsettling disjointed effect is created by a use of fast cuts, damaged TV effects and eerie sounds that build throughout the films progression. While people with anxiety disorders can feel emotions that they we are unable to control, with fears and symtoms that can make us feel extremely uneasy and uncertain, the film takes the audience inside the mind of an anxiety sufferer, being able to empathise with that unconfortable feeling of uncertainty of when anxiety might strike, that overwhelming feeling of having it consume a persons daily life, through scratchy sounds of damaged technology, and visuals that interrupt a peaceful, still natural environment.
