“Faded” is an alternative, narrative short film about living with depression, portraying the struggle of doing simple daily tasks that most of us take for granted. Rebecca, the filmmaker, encourages people who are struggling with depression to hold on to the beauty and hope in their lives.

Director: Rebecca Chiafullo

Rebecca Chiafullo is a seventeen year old award winning cinematographer, director, and the winner of the February 2019 short film competition. She is currently a senior in Jackson Liberty High School’s nationally recognized Digital Media Academy. She has produced several mental-health related films with the goal of inspiring others and creating conversation on controversial topics in hopes of ending the stigma around mental health. She will be continuing her film education into college next year where she will continue to pursue her passion and segue that passion into a career.
