A teenage girl, Emily, struggles with mental illness. The only way to express her feelings that come with her hallucinations is by drawing them. Her art teacher disapproves of Emily drawing these "things". One day Mr.Sicowitz calls her out on her drawings in front of the whole class. The students overhear what he is saying and stand up for her.
