A chair with drive
While working as a disability nurse i met a young man . Well infact i met quite a few young men and women. But there was one or two that stayed in my mind long after the working holiday had finished . The whole process was to and fro and took several meeting to work out roles and responsibilities . The plan of helping these young people live life to the full was a process of co operation and team work ( and a lot of luck) . It was undoubtedly the most rewarding thing i have ever done and only through my experience working in this culture did i know the steps to take to make it a longevity and sucess . Calcutta Works is a social enterprise .. we use money made from products made by the mentally impaired to fund equipment for those that may not be able to be included in our work based programmes. I understand this is cryptic , but so is their mental health … it s about making assessing how we all feel, making patterns and correlations, and following ones own expertise and light 🙂
