AWI Sanctuary Space presents: Owning It: Awkward, Anxious and Awesome

An ongoing Continued Connections program that creates virtual spaces where people can connect at the intersection of art and mental health.

“Owning It: Awkward, Anxious and Awesome” was an open discussion and exploration about managing anxious feelings. We explored how we can affirm our self-worth and awesomeness, despite feelings of anxiety. We also tried out an explorative movement exercise and a meme-making creative activity as additional ways to move through these feelings. Collectively we shared ideas on how we can support our mental wellness in a world that carries a lot of sources of unease.
