Campus Events

Art With Impact hosts film screenings and discussions at colleges and universities around the United States.

Our events are interactive experiences, bringing together students, faculty, mental health professionals and local mental health resources. Together, we watch films culled from our short film contest, we discuss and explore the ideas presented, we ask questions and respond to each other.

Here is what some of our past participants have said about Art With Impact events on their campuses.

"Art with Impact was a wonderful event. I think it so important to use art to bust stereotypes and reduce stigma. Students respond to this so much more positively than a boring lecture. Thank you for doing this important work!"

"After getting to work at 8:00 AM, working through my lunch hour to get my notes done, seeing clients and handling crisis all day, I cannot tell you what a help and relief it is to have the pre-packaged programs in place. I was able to relax, enjoy myself and be a productive panelist, rather than an exhausted participant- who is not demonstrating optimal self-care and optimal mental health. Thank you so much!!!!!!"

"The Art With Impact Program was a very educational and interesting experience.  I did not know what to expect in terms of how many people were going to show up or how they would react to the material.  It was great to see both students and faculty/staff, including on-campus counselors, at the event and interact with each other.  I think the event was a rewarding experience to everyone who attended, both those affected closely by mental illness and those who do not know much about the topic."
